This wooden wall plaque is a piece in my vintage style animal collection featuring a bat with Victorian border. It is a handmade ink transfer onto wood, stained and sealed. It is finished with a metal sawtooth hanger and felt pads on the back so it is ready to hang. It would make a great gift for anyone that is into vintage art, witchcraft, dark arts and bats!

My technique: The ink transfer technique leaves a vintage sketchy imperfect aged look. Each plaque is individual and has various imperfections because each one is handmade and unique. Since these are natural wooden plaques, each is completely unique and may feature wood grain patterns, colors variations, and knots. The example pictured is not the one you’ll receive but yours will be the same high quality as the one shown. The ink transfer technique allows you to see the wood grain underneath the image and is NOT decoupage (glued paper to a surface). This piece is my original art and was created using my drawings, photo editing and enhancements with AI editing to create the perfect vintage portrait look.
